Individual therapy is offered to children, youth, and adults in person or via phone, text, and video sessions in form of Narrative Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Mindfulness Therapy, Arts-Based Mindfulness, Emotion Focused Therapy, and Affirmative Therapy. Individual counselling can provide you a confidential space in which you could explore your thoughts, feelings, and emotions and become empowered to gaining coping skills, communication skills, self-confidence, and motivation to help you make positive changes in your life, improve your relationships, and significantly improve your overall wellbeing. Counselling supports are available for anxiety, depression, anger, stress, chronic pain, self-esteem, communication, conflict resolution, relationships and LGBTQ+ supports.
Relationship therapy is offered for people in various relationships. This includes heterosexual, LGBTQ2S+, monogamous, and polyamorous relationships. Couples and relationship therapy provides supports for various concerns such as improving communication, conflict management, relationship breakdown, infidelity, building trust, enhancing emotional connection and improving levels of intimacy.
Sessions are available for children over age 6 who want to engage in therapy. Sessions are offered via in person, phone, text, and video sessions in form of Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Mindfulness Therapy, Arts-Based Mindfulness, Emotion Focused Therapy, Play Based Therapy, and Affirmative Therapy.
Enhance Your Relationship:
This is a five week group therapy program. Learn how to foster a deep connection with your partner(s) and build stronger intimacy by reducing stressors in your relationship, improving communication skills and conflict management.
LGBTQ+ Affirmative Therapy:
Affirmative Cognitive Behavior Therapy is a five week group for LGBTQ+ youth ages 12 to 25 to learn to identify and cope with minority stress, build emotional supports, promote positive changes through safe and affirming therapeutic experiences.
Improving Self Esteem with Arts-Based Mindfulness:
This is a six week arts-based mindfulness group therapy for children and youth ages 8 to 18. Express yourself creatively and learn new coping skills to improve self esteem. Therapeutic interventions utilized in this model include Cognitive Behavior Therapy methods as well as Mindfulness Therapy methods.
Single session based therapy is available for individuals wanting one session. This involves a one hour Solution Focused Therapy session addressing a single current issue. Counselling supports for single session includes stress, anxiety, low moods, crisis intervention, self esteem, parenting, work stress, relationship or family conflict, and communication.
